Make sure to visit the Koala Sanctuary and the beaches. So much to see and do in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. Check out the murals and shops in Wauchope and don't miss the Dark Alley Coffee shop. Theatre in Laurieton is also fabulous.

Lovely town with lots of beaches and a great walking track along the coast. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Can recommend Whalebone restaurant along the river. Fantastic food and a beautiful setting on the river.

Nice town. Compact with some lovely eating options (even on a Sunday night!) Town is well laid out. Lovely views from many places in town. Seems to have everything you’d need to visit or live there! Off The Hook fish & chips was pretty nice!

Very close and handy to restaurants etc. Under cover car parking. Function at night, but did not impact on our comfort. Would recommend staying there, and would certainly stay again. Very comfortable stop over.

Port Macquarie is a great location with a variety of things to do. It's a haven for those who love swimming, boating and fishing. Good shopping facilities are available in the town and there are a number of smaller neighbourhood shopping centres. Pub's clubs and restaurants abound and there is no problem finding a place to eat. Takeaways are also readily available. There are a lot of scenic walks available (some more strenuous than others) and Sea Acres Sanctuary has a great rainforest board walk (fee) that is well worth taking in. The cafe at Sea Acres Sanctuary also serves lovely food.

Sails Port Macquarie is a stylist hotel by the river in Port Macquarie for long or short stays. It is situated within walking distance to a large variety of shops and eateries. There is a great walking path that can go for several kilometres along the foreshore. The rooms are well planned and beds super comfortable. The restaurant offers great food and the staff in all departments are very welcoming. This is our favourite place to stop midway for the night from Ballina to Sydney.

They don't accept pets, but when I informed Paul(staff) that my dog was an assistants dog he was very accomadating. He even unlocked the back gate so that I had a grassed area to toilet Vader( cleaned up afterwards 😁). I had two rooms over two nights both were great, clean, comfortable and in very good condition. When I'm back in Port Macquarie I will not hesitate use this hotel again, they have found a life customer in me. Thank you Paul 😎

Stayed in a twin double bed hotel room, the hotel rooms are very old and really need a revamp for that kind of money - curtains falling down Staff are pretty friendly and good and I have heard that the apartment are a lot better than the hotel rooms. The pool area is also very small, for a full packed hotel it was a joke and the fact that the hotel doesn't serve drinks or food in the pool area is pretty low.

Location was good. Staff were very friendly. Cleanliness in the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Not enough things like dishwashing liquid or a cloth to wipe up any spills. Cockroaches in the bathroom also. HOWEVER, I chose my accommodation in order to match what I could afford (in Port Macquarie), for 4 nights, so I’m not complaining, just offering up my feedback, as asked.

Spacious room, quite "rustic" but had all facilities required for a relaxing stay. Major Innes is 10 minutes from downtown Port Macquarie but is in a quiet and easily accessed location. Don't expect modern and 5 star but expect quiet and relaxing.

Staff were super helpful and friendly, the room was one of the cheapest I could find and it was in a great location, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Definitely will be returning here

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the parking on site was very good value. The hotel is located near many great shops and food places.

The place was busy as its a hotel on arrival. The manager who served us was professional, polite & was interested where we were from & why we were visiting Port Macquarie.

We stayed as our halfway point while travelling from Brisbane, to Canberra. the hotel is in a very good location close to the beach. staff are very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The loction of the apartments was ideal for exploring the heart of the town.

There is little accommodation now at Port Macquarie as a number of hotels have closed in the last few years. Glad we could find a place to stay.

The hotel has a good location, the front desk staff is friendly and welcoming, and there is free underground parking, which is quite convenient.

The ambience was lovely Mandy was very friendly.. The whole experience surpassed any hotel we have stayed in at Port Macquarie

Hotel was in a very central place close to restaurants . Room was clean and parking on premises.

Was one of the cheaper accommodation options in the area that was available. Staff were nice.
